USD 450 permits the distribution of flyers by various organizations on a nondiscriminatory basis regarding matters of potential interest to students and parents. USD 450 neither sponsors nor endorses any organization or activity represented in such flyers, and any particular activity, content, or viewpoint set forth in any flyer is solely that of the organization shown.

Dr. Amachawadi, Dr. Haley Straub, and Dr. Gretel Tovar are enrolling bearded dragons with dental disease to study the oral microbiome.  They are focusing on bearded dragons with significant disease at this time, but if you believe your dragon may have a lower grade of dental disease, we still would like to hear from you.

Enrollment in the study will contribute to research to better understand how to help dragons with dental disease and how to prevent it in those without. Did I mention we will be doing a physical exam free of charge?

If you would like to learn more about the study or have any questions, please email me (gtovar@vet.k-state.edu) or Kris Richardson (Clinicaltrials@vet.k-state.edu).

Your dragon will be helping others!
